The teaching rooms and research facilities are situated in the centre of Florence, in an area that is particularly vibrant from an artistic and cultural perspective. DIDA also has two satellite campuses elsewhere in the region. The one in Calenzano, where the Bachelor’s degree programme in Industrial Design and the Master’s degree programme in Design are based; a choice dictated by the desire to locate these activities in a heavily industrialised area, characterised by the presence of manufacturing businesses. The other is in Empoli, which hosts the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture.
