The Department of Architecture carries out its research activities through its established research units.
Research units are set up to capitalise on specific disciplinary or interdisciplinary expertise within the Department and across departments, or to coordinate the planning and implementation of national or international research, knowledge transfer and innovation projects.
Departmental Councils may decide to establish research units.
Several research units are active within DIDA, which have carried out research on behalf of local authorities and administrations, companies, business support organisations and trade associations.
