Results and Impact
This section provides a systematic overview of the results and scientific impact generated by the research activities of the Department of Architecture (DIDA) at the University of Florence. In line with the University’s strategic priorities, the promotion of intellectual output and technology transfer are fundamental pillars for fostering the cultural, social, and economic development of the region, translating theoretical research into tangible value for the community.
Here we find an overview of the main indicators and channels through which the Department disseminates its academic knowledge. The Patents section documents the Department’s ability to develop innovative applications and processes designed to foster synergy with the business community. Publishing and scientific output, on the other hand, consists of scientific journals and scientific monographs, which are key tools for consolidating and disseminating critical discourse at the international level.
Rounding out the picture is direct access to the Research Registry, the institutional infrastructure responsible for mapping, validating, and providing transparent access to the entire body of scientific work produced by the Department’s faculty and researchers, thereby ensuring constant monitoring of quality standards and the effectiveness of scientific impact.
